Marco Berton Scapinello was born in Rovigo (Italy) on August 22, 1993. After high school he decides to move to Bologna to study cinema. In 2016 he releases his first short movie called "Francesca Woodman" which allowed him to join various Festivals. In 2017 he meets Belgian actress Lena Suijkerbuijk and shoot the graduation short movie titled "Affogare". Meanwhile he also shoots a documentary about a forgotten Italian director (Adolfo Baruffi) and takes part in other minor projects like video clips or commercials. His biggest influences come from the European independent contemporary cinema. He's currently student at the European Film College. Meanwhile he is attending the last year of the cinema and television department at the Bologna Fine Art Academy..
