Marilina Alvarez works as Art Director and Set Dresser in Films, Tv, Video Clips, Photos and Commercials from twenty years. She studied Film Making in CIEVYC, PSICOLOGY in Buenos Aires University, SET DRESSING inSaulo Benavente School and Colón Theatre, and Graphic Design in Davinci Art School Buenos Aires. As Art Director, she worked with Claudio Ferrari (PAREJAS - Tv Serie ), Nicolas Silbert and Leandro Mark (ESCUELA DE LEVANTE - Tv Serie), Matias Bertoloti (CARTONEROS - Tv Serie ), Ulises Rosell (9mm - Tv Serie), Juan Ranieri (Germinal - Shorfilm), Tucho Milone (WHATS WRONG WITH TEDDY (Tucho Milone Shortfilm). As set dresser she worked with Art Directors, such as Ernesto Molina y Vedia (Commercials with Tarsem, Sebastian Strasser, Daniel Belmayor) ; Marcelo Chavez (Commercials with Pepe Puenzo, Juan Taratuto), Aili Chen (Commercials with Watta, Ivan Vescovo, Esteban Sapir and Features Films with Pablo Giorgelli (Invisible - 2017) and Recreo (Hernan Guerschuny and Jazmin Stuart). Nowadays she works as script writer, director and producer on her own proyects with her own production company Armonia Films. In 2013 she was selected by INCAA as script writer with her feature film draft "Soñar" - "Dreaming" (Ex "Despertar" - "Awaking") in the Raymundo Gleyzer Contest Project Development. In 2016, she filmed "Comer Sano" - "Eating Health" a Tv Cooking Show and "Abundancia" - "Abundance", a documentary about eating healthy. In 2017 she filmed her first short film "No quiero decir nada, pero..." / "I dont want to say anything, but...", selected in UNCIPAR 2017, Soria Buenos Aires ShortFilm Festival (Audience Award and SpeCial Mention to Direction) 2017, Pergamino Cine (Special Mention to Daniel Nuñez), FIC ESMI 2017 (SpeCial Mention to the Narrative Innovation), Bahia Blanca Latino American Festival 2017, SORIA International Short Film Festival 2017, ShortFilm Women Festival FEMUJER 2018- República Dominicana and GALACTICAT Film Festival 2018. In 2018, CARTONEROS, a Tv Serie, where she worked as Art Director, is selected in the Martin Fierro Awards.
