Mbabazi Sharangabo graduated at Haute École d’Art et de Design in Geneva in 2017. His school films The Liberators and Versus screened in festivals such as Vision du Réel Nyon, Internationale Kurzfilmtage Winterthur, Uppsala, Oberhausen and Tampere Film Festival. He runs Imitana Productions, a production company in Kigali-Rwanda which produced his work and ones of the vibrant young filmmakers scene in Kigali. His recent short film I Got My Things And Left won the Grand Prize at the Oberhausen International Short Film Festival, Internationale Kurzfilmtage Winterthur and screened at many festivals such as the IFF Rotterdam, Internationale Kurzfimtage Winterthur, Go Short Nijmegen, Indie Lisboa and ISFF Hamburg. He is currently writing his first feature film SPECTRUM, set in Geneva. .
