Alejandro Ramírez Collado's Biography

Alejandro Ramírez Collado was born in Guanajuato, Mexico. In 2009 he was admitted into UNAM's film school CUEC (one of the most important ones in Mexico and Latin America). In CUEC he developed as a screenwriter, a director and an editor of various short films like “La Llanura”, “Jefe del Desierto”, “Caracol” and “Cangrejo Ermitaño”. His work has been projected in several film festivals. Nowadays he's finishing his documentary, “Los Durmientes”, which is based on a Central American migration shelter in the southern border of Mexico..
