Alaa Alasad's Biography

Producer at Creative Media Solutions (CMS),​ he’s Producing and Co-producing couple of fictional and nonfictional projects around the world. Alaa is producing his first Feature film “Baghdad Perfume” with the director Roua Alazzawi, and will start production by end of 2017. In addition to the Jordanian film “On The Edge” with Bassam Alasad. He is co-producing couple of projects including an Egyptian Movie “Soad” for the director Ayten Amin., an Australian Film with the producer Michael Wrenn and the DIrector Partho Sen-Gupta “Slam,” a Sudanese Film “You’ll Die At Twenty” with Amjad Abu Alalaa. and just joined a big budget Short Film “on The Mountain” for the director Faisal Attrache and starring Saleh Bakri, in addition to co-producing a big Saudi-Spanish Film with an Award winning Producer Andres Vicente Gomez “Born A King” for the director Agusti Villaronga. ​Alaa has co-produced a Spanish Documentary "The Other Kids" which was screened in San Sebastian Film Festival and many other festivals as well. he has couple of upcoming Projects with ALjazeera Documentary, including an interactive Documentary “Champions Without Borders”. ​Alaa Worked on Al Batal Season 2 as a Pre-production producer, the show was broadcasted on FOX Movies, FOX and Icflix. and lately he Produced UAE's PSA for earth hour. He worked on Couple of Short Films with Bassam Alasad as a producer or DOP, such as the experiment Documentary Life For Rent which was part of DIFF Market in 2012, and the award Winning Short film Black Out. And trying to help Young Arab Filmmakers to create their first or second their Short FIlms, and he just finalzied coupele of short films from Jordan, Egypt, Bahrain, and Iraq. .
